Aunjanue Ellis
Aunjanue E. Taylor Aunjanue E. Taylor, an American stage actress and producer, is known for playing in the feature film Ray Undercover Brother as well as on The Mentalist. She has an BA in African-American Studies from Brown University and an MFA in acting from the Tisch School of Arts New York University. Aunjanue l. Ellis, is an American actor and producer who has performed in theatre and TV and films as also, has been active across both sides of the screen. Her acting career started in the theater. Then she appeared on several television shows, independent films and mainstream films. She came to prominence as Miranda Shaw on ABC's Quantico and was a part of BET's epic show The Book of Negroes for which she received not just high praise but also received a host of nominations and awards including a Television Critics Choice Award nomination for the Best Actress in a Movie. In 1995 she was the first actress to make her debut in The Tempest as Ariel. Her stage credits are Come and Gone Drowning Crow as well as Seeking the Genesis, a Broadway production of Joe Turner. She is most well-known for her role in the series Men of Honor as well as the Caveman's Valentine The Express & The Help. The role she played as a regular on ABC's drama-police series High Incident earned her praises.
