Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd began her journey in combat sports at the young age of fourteen. She was trained in boxing, kickboxing wrestling, and BJJ. She made her first amateur appearance at 18 at WCFC against Jaimee Nievera. Ladd kept building on her win during Ultimate Reno Combat, where she won three consecutive fights. She finished all of her competitors in the initial round. After that, she went back to WCFC where she defeated Leslie Rodriguez by unanimous decision. Aspen has already beaten Silvia Baeghian as well as Maddy Simmons, before taking against Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia defeated Aspen and beat her in a unanimity to create an end to Ladd's amateur record. Ladd took her bout with Roma Pawelek to improve to an 8-1 mark. Aspen started her professional career in 2015, signing with Invicta FC for her professional debut. Invicta Fc 11 she dominated Ana Carolina Vidal and won the bout in the one round with a TKO. Invicta Fighting Championships 16: She won her next bout with Amanda Cooper through a second-round submission by armbar. Aspen employed the strong abilities she acquired in wrestling to take on McGill. She ended the fight with a TKO (3rd round) (elbows, punches). Aspen then fought Jessica Hoy in Invicta FC 18 at weight of catchweight (138.1lb), as Ladd was unable to reach her weight. Despite this, Aspen was able to take on Hoy. She finished her via TKO in the second-round. Invicta FC 21, she won her final fight with the promotion by unanimous decision. Her UFC debut was at UFC Fight Night 118 when she took on Lina Lansberg. She outclassed Lina by pound-for-pound, and took the TKO round later in the 2nd. Her dominance grew and she won a much more convincing victory in her subsequent fight with Tonya Evinger. UFC 229 Ladd took over Evinger's fight following the first round. The winner also got the reward for her performance on the night. Her first major fight came in her next fight at UFC Fight Night dos Anjos vs. Lee against Sijara Eubanks in an Invicta FC rematch. Ladd was the winner of the night's fight bonus fight after the two fighters engaged in hard in a tense back and forth battle. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie was able to finish the fight in just 16 seconds and finish Ladd and her streak. in the 3rd round on UFC on ESPN 7, she defeated Yana Kunitskaya. As a last-minute replacement to her UFC match, she faced Norma Dumont during UFC Fight Night 195. The fight ended in a unanimous verdict.
