Melissa Suzanne George is an actress, model, inventor, and businesswoman who hails from Australia. She began her career in Australia before moving to Hollywood and has achieved great success. George was born in Perth from Western Australia initially was interested in dancing as well as artistic roller skating. In her teens, she started modeling, and was awarded in 1992 the Western Australian teenage Model. The first time she appeared on screen was the episode of the Seven Networks' soap-opera Home and Away the following year. Her big screen debut was in the thriller mystery Dark City and essayed various supporting roles in projects such as Alias The Limey and Down with Love before making her debut as the female lead in an established Hollywood production in 2005's adaptation of The Amityville Horror . Her popularity on American television shows is testament to her popularity. George created Style Snaps, her product as an innovator.
